Canines with Concentrated Light

This is my first entry; a first opening to my very soul, a soul which is hard and green, not unlike callow lemon freshly plucked from its bosom home-a tree of that once housed a thousand lemons, all of which nearly gone, for it is harvest time.

Enough of that.

This blog will be largly dedicated to comic book reviews. I have had other blogs and vlogs in past which centered on religion and spirituality, but I want to try something new. I like comic books. They're like super charged soap operas full of carnage and destruction, where the back-stabbing is forthright and conflicts earthshattering. I may occaisionally review a movie or video game. I may also rant from time to time.

Here is a list of some of my interests:

  1. Marvel Comics namely X-Men, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man

  2. D.C. Comics, mostly Batman and Justice League

  3. Chinese history and language (I speak some Mandarin)

  4. Hinduism, Paramahansa Yogananda

  5. Truck Driving, oddly enough

  6. Writing poetry (my favorite poet is Anne Sexton)

Top Video Games:

  1. The Secret of Monkey Island

  2. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

  3. Fable

  4. Battletoads & Double Dragon

  5. Maniac Mansion

Top Movies

  1. Crippled Masters

  2. Last Samurai

  3. Iron Fisted Monk

  4. Curse of the Golden Flowers

  5. Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

Top T.V. Shows

  1. Star Trek: TOS, TNG, DS9

  2. Millennium

  3. The Incredible Hulk (you rock Bill Bixby)

  4. Death Note

  5. X-Men cartoon from the '90s (I know, I know; I reek of geekiness)

I leave you now with an awesome sight. HULK GOES SUPER SAIYAN!!!

This image is owned by Marvel comics. It is not mine in anyway. Please Marvel, don't bring the hammer down on me. I'll be good, I promise. I'll even give you a free advertisement and show the good folks where they can get access to superb Hulk comics. I also give you credit, TURABIAN STYLE!!!
